Bowden posted that this past summer, he nearly quit football all together. He's thankful now he didn't....so are we.
i think it was the Vandy game where Stoops commented that Bowden began yelling to his team mates that they all needed to do whatever it took to win....blocking, cheering, catching....anything.

As another poster stated.....Nationwide, almost half of all players never complete a college career. Grades, injuries, burn out, being new parents, sickness, family issues...maybe realization that there is a lot of life outside football for some.

I've said, since he arrived on campus, that if he stays healthy, and the coaching staff draws up the plays for him, that he will be compared very favorably to Randall Cobb before he leaves UK.

He's already shown he has the talent to be compared to Cobb.

This season I wanted to see CJ and Bowden become offensive forces. We got to see one, anyways.

I love Bowden. His future is extremely bright if he wants it to be.
