Bowden posted that this past summer, he nearly quit football all together. He's thankful now he didn't....so are we.
i think it was the Vandy game where Stoops commented that Bowden began yelling to his team mates that they all needed to do whatever it took to win....blocking, cheering, catching....anything.
As another poster stated.....Nationwide, almost half of all players never complete a college career. Grades, injuries, burn out, being new parents, sickness, family issues...maybe realization that there is a lot of life outside football for some.
