That too. The offense UK ran was the best option for the talent they had. I think they could have been a little more imaginative at times and maybe used Bowden and Conrad more than they did. But all in all they got about as much as you can expect for what they had to work with.
    Kentucky fan since 1971.

Sports Illustrated projecting us to the Belk Bowl against Duke.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

I'm not so sure we couldn't have run some Air Raid this season. It's mostly a dink and dunk off. As far as receivers, I don't know about Benny, A.J. and companies hands, backs often serve as receivers. It seems I recall a back by the name of Anthony White that set a UK record for having over 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving while playing in the Air Raid off.

White is one of my favorite players ever from Kentucky. He was so underrated. Still is.

They had UK going to the MCB a couple days ago.

I guess Independance is coming up.

most sites I see have UK going either to the Outback or Citrus.

Michigan losing has them looking at the Fiesta....against WSU.
              Florida in the Peach.....so....whatever.
LSU in the Citrus after a 7 ot loss.
Mississippi State in the Texas bowl
              Auburn in the Belk
South Carolina in the Music City.

It seems to be UKs opponent is either PSU or Northwestern.
Take it for what it is.

Lol.....neither does anyone else. Citrus and Outback seem to be in play as far as higher paying sites.
seems like the Fiesta could go away from an SEC team...I think they are open selection.
Rose may have controversy....Right now seems like Washington vs.....somebody from the Big 10....Michigan likely if Northwestern loses.
seems to lean tonight with Georgia Sugar Bound, Florida to the Peach, LSU to the Citrus and UK Outback. Good place as well.
three teams mentioned as UK opponent...Northwestern, Penn State and Iowa.

really, it doesn't matter a ton. Go enjoy, play the game, get a win, have a ball. I had thought the LSU loss would be a benefit, but as usual I was wrong.

When I say we could have used some air raid some this year, I didn't mean run air raid with our team I mean we could have used some of the offense from those days. I also don't think this offense was set up to do that, then again yo9u never know. Loved the Hal Mummee offense but with no defense to go with it, its about as good as anything else.

Looking at the last standings, the SEC has four teams in the top 10. That's amazing.
Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Florida are pretty much guaranteed a NY6 bowl. Pretty much.
that means Kentucky, Mizzou and aTm are the competitors.
UK is ranked higher than either (I'm sure the aTm fans are questioning that). It seems UK would be THE choice for the Citrus...the Texas Bowl normally takes an SEC West team.
Guessing it will be Florida vs UCF....somewhere.

It's a shame UCF won't have their starting QB for their bowl game.

UCF vs. Florida in the Fiesta. Unless something crazy happens UK is IN the Citrus. The Citrus officials have said that's who they want.

Here is a good question. As much as people downplay UCF because of their schedule. If they were UK's bowl game would you be nervous?

With their starting QB I absolutely would be. I've watched them twice and they've got some dudes, no diubt. Without their starting QB I'm not sure how much that hurts them, I'd say significantly
