I agree about the wildcat but we scored a td out of it in the last game. (Called back)

Here's another tidbit from the ole armchair coach. If, and I emphasize if, I were going to run the wildcat it would be with Bowden, not Benny. Bowden isn't the power runner that Benny is, but he's more of a threat to get out on the edge. Also, defenses would have to deal with the possibility of a pass with Bowden in there as he played QB in h.s. Bowden is more of a Randall Cobb type than Benny, and we had quite a bit of success running the wildcat when Randall was here.

The Wildcat formation itself is fine. The run up the middle out of it has been sniffed out.

That's one of the reasons I would prefer having Bowden back there instead of Benny. Bowden is more of a threat to get outside and if the def. over runs the play he can cut it back up inside. Oh, and did I mention he's a legitimate threat to pass?

I believe once Saturday Bowden took the snap with Benny in the backfield. That opens up all kinds of options.
