Matt Jones mentions we'll be getting a "high profile transfer"

I just read that Meechi Harris is going to transfer from Cincinnati. I think he was committed to UK before flipping to Cincinnati. I also think he has been injured. Still, he was rated as a really good receiver.

Matt said it could happen this week but more likely right after the end of the early signing period, Dec 21st.

Also has added that there could be another fairly well known by uk football fans transfer coming. This one is less certain, but a good possibility.

I remember him being recruited. He's 6' 2", around 190, and timed at 4.44 in the 40. I think he was ranked the 83rd best wide receiver nationally. Had a number 20 rank for Ohio players. I don't know why he is transferring or if we are a likely landing spot. He a take in my opinion - all other things being equal.

Justin Fields, the backup QB at Georgia, is exploring transfer options. I don't see it being him, but no other news about this mystery transfer has been popping up anywhere.

He has talked about two transfers lately. I expect that Harris is not the "high profile" one. Matt has said that he will say who it was after it's decided either way.

I believe he originally said it would happen after NSD/when the semester was over. But, it is odd that literally NOTHING has come out. The only thing we know is who it isn't. Fields came out and said if he transfers it'll be OU, OSU, or FSU that he would have interest in. If we don't know anything by this time next week I'll be protesting outside of KSR with you.

He is operating on what UK Football people tell him. Some are acting like he just made this up. He has said for weeks, "It will most likely happen, it may not, but either way I will tell you who." It is exactly what you want from a sports media gossip columnist.
