How does that conversation go when they disagree? Is it the superior that makes the ultimate decision? Whoever had the better angle? Can you give an example of when you disagreed with another official on something and had a chat about it?Comment

I saw the play on reverse angle posted by Mizzou fans to show there was no interference. Unfortunately for there viewpoint what I saw was the DB running into Wagner, pushing him by his contact, then as the ball arrived the DB turned his back to the ball and there was contact. Wagner came down with the ball in one hand. Really the only question in my mind is if they were going to call a touchdown/ forced out to Wagner.Comment

7-1 and touchdown away from 8-0. The win over Florida killed some sort of demon that allowed yesterday’s end of game to happen.👍 1Comment

It happened most for me on out of bounds calls when finger tips were involved. And we didn't have a monitor to go to.John 3:3

I expected the two officials on that play to talk about it because the linesman signaled incomplete, and the back judge threw the flag. Also, if they both had the same call, there would have no need for a discussion. It is always wise for officials to confer when there are two totally different angles. It was great officiating and they got it right.

But what prevents an argument/disagreement during this? If one saw one thing and the other saw something different how do they come to an agreement? I imagine it being like Trump and Hillary discussing politics but I know it's not. It just seems like one would have to give up and give in to their co-worker fairly easy. Is that based on the best angle? Seniority? Just a mutual respect and trust if one isn't positive of what he saw?John 3:3
