LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky football’s 2017 season may be finished, but the news around the Wildcats’ program likely is not.
Here is a look at what storylines fans should watch between now and spring practice.
1. NFL draft decisions
UK already received some good news when injured junior tight end C.J. Conrad decided to return to school for his senior season, but there are more NFL draft decisions still pending.
Outside linebacker Josh Allen and safety Mike Edwards both said after the Music City Bowl that they planned to sit down with family members and UK coaches soon to make a decision about their futures.
With some reports suggesting Allen might work his way into the first round, he seems the most likely departure.
But Edwards has not shied away from the possibility of forgoing his senior season either. Getting either player back would be a major boost for the Wildcats’ 2018 defense.
