UK football players possibly involved in Richmond bar fight

Saw a picture of an EKU football player post-fight. Looked NASTY. Not a good look for some of our guys, if true.

This doesn't sound good. Different sources are saying three UK fb players were involved, but no one is naming names.

The KSR article names Drew Barker, Tymere Dubose and Dorian Baker - all three of which were involved in the pellet gun incident last semester.

Cue "Execute them, now' Guy (or gal): "They should be dismissed. These players are handed life on a silver platter, with free education that's worth thousands of dollars. This is their second serious problem, and they clearly have behavior issues. There's no way they can be leaders of this program, or even representatives, with this sort of crap going on!"

Followed by: "Wait for the facts" Guy (or gal): "Everyone is jumping to conclusions. Everyone should just let the investigation run it's course, and everything will be clear in time. This is all just speculation and early reporting, and there isn't even an official police investigation into this, yet."

In a close third comes, "Innocent until proven guilty" Guy (or gal): "I wish people would quit making snap judgements about people, without knowing the entire truth. Is this America, or not? Because we're all supposed to be innocent until proven guilty."

Just ahead of "Court of public opinion" Guy:......

Etc, etc, until we finally arrive at "I'll take the high road, giving due credence to the seriousness of the involved issues, while maintaining the noble position of neutral observer" Guy (or Gal).

Drew Barker is turning out to be quite the moron. Would not be surprised if Stoops tells him to take a hike after this. At the very least they are underage, drinking in a bar and got in a fight. Even if they did not start it they should never have been there.

This is twice in two years before stepping onto the field. It's like a cheater saying I only cheated the time you caught me, how many times have they done stupid stuff and not got caught? Whatever they decide is fine with me.

If it turns out that these are the three that were involved, as badly as I hate to say it, they should be dismissed, in my opinion. After the way some fans have railed on U of L, UT and Miami, Fl., for their players indiscretions, anything less would be hypocritical, in my opinion.

Unless things have changed you do not need a fake ID to get into those bars in Richmond..just a student ID and Yes they do take UK ID's

If Barker is one of them then he is at the very least showing he is not a leader. Which is a death nail to any QB.

Didn't say that. But I was also not a star recruit, high profile, "future" face of the football program. If you can't see how stupid he is for this well then......

The facts will come out soon. Sure hope Barker is not involved, but....if he was you have to wonder what kind of a leader he would be. Has nothing to do with what "we" did back in the day. As a parent, I would want these kids punished. Wonder what the EKU player's part was in all this??

With everything associated with UK Football of late, 6 losses to end season, loss of recruits, and now this! Seems UK Football has slid back into the crapper, very depressing how things are going. Stoops first 2 seasons were so very exciting, but reality is now setting in!
