Tough loss. Was afraid we left them too much time. For those that were watching on TV, was that a fumble or no?

      Defense. Gotta stop somebody. Secondary.
      wow.
Vanderbilt is no given. They are at home, and their defense ain't shabby as long as it isn't Alabama or Georgia.
left a hard row to home.
      ah, well.

No. Not even questionable. He was down.

His hand hit the ground first, much like in the UL game last year, but they ruled his left elbow hit before the ball came out. In that instance it was not a fumble.

They ruled correctly. Truly no question. Darn shame we leave it up to them to turn it over at the end for us to have hope.

Yep. Had the chance to take the game by the throat. The three and outs...man. after the offense had been clicking.
hard loss...this one was won. Just had to stop something somewhere. Just didn't.
                    damn.
one day maybe we will be in a spot we don't pray for a turnover.

It was exactly like the Lamar Jackson fumble last year so who knows what the rule is now.

No it wasn't. His elbow was clearly down before the ball came out.

It was so definitely NOT a fumble that it aggravates me greatly how Stoops was disgusted when it was overturned rather than knowing it was not a fumble and talking a little defense with his team. Another epic end of game failure.

I'm going to say this, and then I'm done for the night. Normally, I don't say much about the officiating, and I'm of the opinion that you can never single out one play or player as costing a team the game. Having said that, I'm getting sick and tired of missed calls, that a blind person could see, influencing our games. First, it was the no call, in the Fl. game, where Elam was obviously held as he was going for Del Rio and tonight, in the first qtr., Gates put C.J. on the ground, at about the Ole Miss 15 yard line, with an official standing standing at the goal line watching. Even the announcers said the play had touchdown written all over it.
