Yes, I am concerned about the injuries we saw tonight, and eager to hear how quickly some of our guys can get back out there.

There were a lot of injuries on both sides. Carolina lost a couple of their best players.

Hard hitting game. Both teams knocked around out there. One team hit just a bit harder. Huge 4th down stops by the Wildcats tonight. Goalline stand...huge. How about that Kentucky defense?

I was impressed that UK was down to its 3rd string LB, behind Jones and Brown, and still did fine.

I have to say, I went to ****************ytalk earlier in the week to see what their fans were saying about the game (not to post) They were a pretty nasty, smack talkin, disrespectful bunch. I don't think we ever dump on bottom feeding SEC BBall teams like that. They seem to be delusional about their status as a football program in the SEC and the nation. I have always considered them more or less on our tier (with the exception of their good years under Superior)

They were all wound up that KY fans on Rivals thought they were beatable.

Anyhoo... Fast forward to tonight... The self loathing and rage is delicious. I haven't seen a more extreme shift in a fan base ever.

Lastly, I was really sorry to hear Deebo broke his leg and is out for the season. Sucks for such an electric player. Their stud TE got dinged late as well. Hate that for them.

Their team was ****************y also. Their team Captains refused to shake with the KY team Captains after the coin toss. Leach talked about at the time and Stoops talked about it on his post game. Didn't work out for them either now did it. It seems that sportsmanship is dead in this day and age.

Hate to hear that Deebo broke his leg. Never like to see an player hurt.

That's the first I've heard of that. I really hate to hear that. I hate that Carolina (and the conference, and college football) loses him that way. I so hated seeing them lose Marcus Lattimore. SC has caught some really bad breaks that way.

Carolina fans are kind of funny that way, some of them, just like you describe. I've really enjoyed a lot of them. But they have a group that is just like you said: talking way too big for their program. They had a handful of really nice years under Spurrier, and a few under Holtz. But the way some of them talk, you'd never know that it took them until the mid-1990s to win a single bowl game, ever, or that the nicest trophies in their case pale next to UK's from the Sugar and Cotton bowls (and Orange). I guess every team has some really stupid and obnoxious fans, but a lot of them have more to brag about than Carolina's worst. Again - can't stress this enough - I think, on balance, they have a pretty cool fan base (but I know some other UK fans whose experiences lead them to feel otherwise).

Carolina is a nice place to take in a game when they're not playing Kentucky, too. Nice stadium, nice atmosphere, engaged fans, usually pleasant weather - just a nice visit all around, IMO. (I say that, even though I saw that a UK fan was shot outside a restaurant one block - ONE BLOCK! - from their state capitol building last night. Columbia can be a pleasant place to enjoy, but it has a crime problem and you have to be careful there.)

As I sit here with my plate of crow, and dish of humble pie, I couldn't be more elated that the Cats proved me wrong.

First time I saw a legit contender on the field. Cats brought it and I couldn't be happier. The table is set for a HUGE game next Saturday. Bring on the Gators!

I can't remember the last time I saw as complete a KY football team as what I saw last night. Just unbelievable in all 3 facets.

An impressive game all the way around. I believe the Cats have them a defense.

Now we come to a program-defining moment for Stoops. Next Saturday is going to be bananas. It's time to end it.

I hate Deebo broke his leg but it just proves he is a tough son of a gun because he went back out and played on it. Here's to a speedy recovery for the young man.

Now, next week. This could be the game that pushes us from a good program to a great one, especially on the recruiting side. We win this game and we likely start out 6-0 with a top 25 ranking.

Excellent win. I really didn't think they cold win down in Columbia. Defense is superb. Those stands they made were as good as gets. Even the last USC TD they had to throw a near perfect ball to get the TD. I thought Johnson was very good at QB. The run he made pretty much clinched the game. He is certainly the starter and should be no debate about it now. This win makes the way to six much better. They have just a slight little wiggle room now but not much.

Love the Defense. Bend but not break on the pass (except the first of the game). Run defense top 7. Offense is still up and down but getting better. Love the drive and want to ability of the team. Keep it up CATS!

The center position is still the big concern. Very sketchy on snaps after 3 games. That has to be cleaned up this coming week.

Funny, watched ESPN College Football Final and not one mention of UK-USC game...guess they have egg on their face after only giving UK 18% chance to win the game.
