[QUOTE=WIZARD;n138393]I'm not sure Benny was at full strength Saturday.
Stephen Johnson is not fast and he is not a runner. I don't know why folks think he is.

The fact that he is black, and it is a stereo type that if a QB is black, he is a dual threat, if he is white, he is a pocket passer, and if a wr is white, he is a possession receiver, and if a rb is white, he is a power runner.Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that... I have called him a running QB not because he is black or fast, but rather because since his first scrimmage at UK he has looked far more comfortable running the ball than passing from the pocket. His tendency is to take off and run rather than move in the pocket and buy time to make a throw.Comment

I still think he can run. I'd put him probably in the same boat as Patrick Towles, who I also thought was pretty fast. They're not "dual threat quarterbacks" probably, but they can get yards when the play breaks down.Comment

He looks pretty comfortable in the pocket to me. I think his height may be a concern at times. But when he's set I think he's okay. He definitely doesn't have it in him to move and throw...but I can't think of many UK quarterbacks who've been able to do that. Woodson, Lorenzen, Couch in my lifetime. That's probably the list. Seems to be a hellaciously difficult skill.
