We briefly touched on this subject yesterday in Will's thread about Cheers. I didn't want to hijack his thread, so I thought it might be interesting for us to list some of our favorite tv shows from a bygone era. When I was a wee lad, the Roy Rogers show was my favorite. As I grew older, the shows seem to mature as well (Gunsmoke, Tales Of Wells Fargo, Laramie etc.). I also remember liking Dragnet, Topper and Star Trek just to name a few. I don't know if any of you remember Topper. Briefly, Topper was about three friendly ghosts (a man, his wife and a St. Bernard) who inhabited their former home which had been purchased by a L. A. bank vice-president. One of the highlights was that the St. Bernard loved Martinis and you could see the drink disappearing from the glass, but you didn't see the dog. I'd like to know what some of your favorite shows were when you all were youngsters.

I go back to the early ABC "TGIF" sitcoms--Full House, Family Matters, etc.--but I was also a fan of the Fox Sunday lineup in the early-to-mid 1990s. This was
Parker Lewis Can't Lewis
Herman's Head (shortly lived)
Roc
In Living Color
The Simpsons
I also really got in to the Sci-Fi Channel when it first came on. They had a kind of weekly roundup show called Sci-Fi Buzz that I lived for for about two years. Also loved The Twilight Zone and especially The Prisoner. To this day thinking about that bouncing sphere creeps me out.Comment
