      Same to you, Matt. I know about the sweltering, Cathy. Wish I didn’t. Last year though, it was rainy and flooding in these parts.

      I’d like to see those specials you’re watching. There’s an exhibit at the nearby LBJ library I’d like to see.

        Today's the best day we've had this week. It's 85 with low humidity. Our cats and dog are enjoying the day as well. They've really suffered this week.

          Here's a link to a segment I just watched of Jena Bush Hager interviewing the four former living Presidents. Being a history buff I especially enjoyed it.

            History buff here, too. I visited Salado Tx as a weekend “day tripper” recently and wanted first and foremost to stay in the “Baines” house, named after LBJ’s maternal great grandfather Baines. I’ll still stay in that little house one day. Instead, I stayed where Sam Houston stayed, near the stagecoach and Chisholm Trail route. I just love history.
