Same to you, Matt. I know about the sweltering, Cathy. Wish I didn’t. Last year though, it was rainy and flooding in these parts.

History buff here, too. I visited Salado Tx as a weekend “day tripper” recently and wanted first and foremost to stay in the “Baines” house, named after LBJ’s maternal great grandfather Baines. I’ll still stay in that little house one day. Instead, I stayed where Sam Houston stayed, near the stagecoach and Chisholm Trail route. I just love history.Comment
