These dumbasses dissed Clark in their statement about "Pay us what you owe us".
Clark is the very reason that they have any kind of leverage to even make that statement.
What a bunch of fools.
To make matters worse, when Clark announced that she wouldn't be in the All Star Game, prices dropped 50%.
These women are hilariously stupid.

Just saw an article that Sophie Cunningham is 'leading the charge' to get the league office to negotiate much higher pay for the players. I'm just guessing, but it wouldn't surprise me, if the WNBA does capitulate to these idiotic demands, that the NBA owners who pump money into this sinkhole quietly allow the league to fold. I know they're multimillionaires, if not billionaires, but they didn't get that way by throwing millions away on a business that has had 30 years to 'mature' and still can't pay its own bills. There is a limit to how much they'll spend on virtue signaling and I believe we're approaching that point.Comment

I've seen several commercials featuring Sophie Cunningham as the WNBA seems to be trying to market her as a (maybe 'the') face of the league. IMO, she's not bad looking and at least a 9 for the WNBA but there are plenty of women >> Sophie Cunningham. I guess being blond, fit, pretty good looking and straight means she's a lot more marketable than other WNBA players. For me, there are some women tennis players (Radacanu, Kalinskya, Lys, Rybakina, etc.) who are MUCH better looking than SC. Again, she's probably a 7.5 in the wide world of women but she's certainly being marketed as a straight up 10 and that's just not so, imo.Comment

100000000000000 % Nothing to add.I do not watch the NBA much less the WNBA, but I just had to comment. The league has lost money every single year of its existence (at least it had until maybe a year or so ago when i read an article about the league's finances). The NBA props it up financially. The level of basketball is, from what I've observed in highlights on ESPN, about like good boys HS (and that may be giving them.more credit than they deserve as I believe an all-state boys team would rout the best WNBA team). The women are good - but they're women. They aren't as athletically gifted as men are. The notion that the league 'owes' them anything is beyond laughable. They don't generate enough revenue on their own to pay the bills. To be fair and to pay them what they're 'owed' would be to ask for refunds from every player and coach. The value of time is beyond computation. Life is too short to be trifled away. I'm not sure why more haven't tuned out of the NBA for these reasons. Play ball and shut up. Same with actors, make movies, and shut up. Why do they think their political opinion rate higher than the average working person? And what's worse is 80% of the general population disagrees with their policies. I havent watched the NBA since the Magic and Bird years, its just a joke now.
Great post and the reason I quit watching the nba was all the social issues. Black nba players crying over equality while making millions, give me a break. This is the same thing. We live in such a victimhood
mentality society and quite frankly, I’m tired of it and have basically walked away from supporting said societyThe value of time is beyond computation. Life is too short to be trifled away. We have but a few days of probation in which to prepare for eternity.👍 1Comment

I can't go here, not watching is the only means the public has to object. Keep buying the product, and they keep producing it. They even think we agree and become more emboldened.
People didn't like Edsels, so they didn't buy them, and they went away. WNBA is an Edsel. The value of time is beyond computation. Life is too short to be trifled away. We have but a few days of probation in which to prepare for eternity.👍 2Comment
