Anisimova beat that screaming Russian woman to get to the finals. So happy for her. I will watch that match knowing the screamer is gone. 😉😉

Anisimova isn't exactly mute, either. But, a great upset. Looks like it'll be Iga in the finals with her. Wouldn't bet against Anisimova as she's a big hitter, too, which gives Iga fits.

Fritz had a chance to take it to a deciding 5th set but couldn't get it done vs Alcaraz.

Can't help but think this might be Djokers last Wimbledon. So hard at nearly 40 years old over 2 weeks playing best of 5.

Well, one more shining example of my idiocy and the reason I don't bet on sports anymore. Prior to the start of the tournament, I wouldn't have given Swiatek more than 50/50 chance of making the quarters. Well, she's hoisting the winners platter after bageling Anisimova and cruising through the draw. I'm happy for her. She'd never won a tournament on grass but she sure picked a good one to be her first. Disappointed that the finals was so one sided. Expecting another classic from Alcaraz and Sinner tomorrow. But I'm not betting on it 😀😘

JMO, I am saying Novak announces this will be his last season after the US Open ends. Also the men’s finals were great. Glad Sinner won. But I like Alcaraz too. Sinner is really really good. Fun to watch them. Wimbledon is my favorite tournament. Happy for Iga too though I wanted Amanda to win. Like them both a lot.
