We’re sorely missing a Schwarber type. I know that’s not easy to find but it’s what this team needs. Along with someone to grow into third, really counting on Marte

At least we were dominated by a legitimate pitcher today. Several of our 2 or fewer hit games this year have been again someone’s 3rd starter with a .500 winning percentage and a 4.85 ERA and we made him look like Nolan Ryan.

These next 2 series before the break are against weaker competition. Gotta get on a roll now or it may be another woulda coulda year 🤞

This time last year the Reds were 42-48 and 10 games out of 1st. This year they're 2 games over .500 and 8 games out of first. I think Tito has made a difference. Hoping Steer and McClain continue their upward trajectory and they can somehow find a reliable outfield bat before the deadline. Starting pitching is good and the bullpen has been good enough most of the time. Have to do well against the weak sisters before the break.

Steer's bat is coming around, but why were they playing him at 1B and CES at 3B? CES should be getting the majority of play at 1B if that's his future. Steer should be in LF. Benson should just not be out there altogether. He went on a bit of a hot streak early when he came back up, but has since fallen off a cliff.

I thought getting Hayes, Marte and CES back was supposed to shore up the lineup. seems like it's having the opposite effect.
