The Reds' continue the habit of winning three, losing two, winning one, losing one, winning two, losing three, winning...
The weird back and forth nature of the team is kinda funny considering this is a team that still hasn't been swept. Usually teams like that are able to knock out a bunch of wins in a row, but that's eluded this team all year.👍 1Comment

But dayum. Cmon now, they lost to the freaking worst team in possibly history last night and are behind again to them today. Geez."It don't make much sense that common sense don't make no sense no more" John PrineComment

They donned their rally caps, and can take the series, tomorrow.
And, the Rockies caught some luck last night with that hit up the middle that the Reds pitcher slowed down juuust enough to prevent an out: then the wild-pitch!?!?
I still think the Reds can make serious noise after the break.
What a year Andrew Abbott is having!
if he had pitched just 5 or 6 more innings on the season, his current ERA would be listed second only to Paul Skenes . . . and those have switched back-and-forth a few times. Abbott has pitched 91.1 innings on the season for the 96 games played, just a tad below the “one inning per team game†required by the internet listings of ERA leaders.
But that will no longer be of concern in a couple of weeks as Abbott is about to overcome the statistical drag of missing the early season.
And it ain’t really a big deal: he’s going to the All-Star game!!Comment

The Reds are hovering around. All you can ask.
Am going to GABP Tuesday for the first time in two years. The last time I went, a thunderstorm blew in and we waited in a rain delay for almost two hours before they suspended the game. Hoping for better luck this time.
I've been to some weird ones in my life. Cincy's four hours away from where I grew up and my dad busted out his old Lincoln Continental once. We blew all four tires on the trip, two going up, two coming back. One time my wife and I went and we mis-judged the time and traffic and the Reds scored 7 first-inning runs, including an Aaron Boone grand slam, and we didn't see a single one because I was trying to park. They didn't score another run for the rest of the game. Also went once to see them play the Brewers and this little guy for the Brewers hit a homer, and a couple sitting beside us started cheering. It turned out they were his neighbors when he was growing up. That guy was Scotter Gennett.👍 1Comment

Also got probably the best seats I ever had once to see them play the Giants in the Bonds era, right behind home plate. Sean Casey had a pitch thrown at his head and the benches cleared. We were so close to the action we could hear the players yelling at each other. That was pretty cool.👍 1Comment

I agree. Just a game out of a WC spot. And really, not out of contention for the division. Big series coming up with LA.Comment
