Per TWC, the Mercury hit 5 below this morning. No power outages yet and both furnaces are still running although the one under the floor is struggling. I set the Thermostat on 67 when I went to bed last night and it was 64 when I got up, at 4:10, this morning. We normally set it on 70 during the day but the furnace is working overtime to keep the downstairs at 65, so I'm trying to bring the temp up slowly. Stay safe and warm everyone.

Winter returned. I am guessing we got about half an inch in our yard. Upper 20s. Rebounding in the next few days.

We didn't get much snow here at all, but it's going to be very cold for the next couple of days and nights. The Weather Channel is predicting 17 for here tonight.

Might get some nasty storms in the wee hours of the morning here. Don’t like when it is dark. TWC has Louisville in TOR CON 5. Be safe if in the path of this weather.

If there is a tornado warning, get a flashlight and a battery radio, go to the basement or an inside bathroom. Stay away from windows. You won't be alone, God knows where you are.
