I thought season 3 was fantastic. This show is better than Breaking Bad and that is a bold statement. Great character development. Great soundtrack.

I am almost through season three. It's very good.
I don't think it is Breaking Bad good, but it is really interesting a fun. Yeah definitely not fun, but I get what you mean. Some fantastic acting in this show. I really came to like Ben a lot but Ruth steals the show. Outside of Marty she is my favorite character.Isaiah 5:20Comment

It’s good - not Breaking Bad or The Americans good, but good. If I’d watched the show before my daughter was born, I’d probably have named her Ruth (who was also in The Americans). We’re almost through the 3rd season.
Someone described it as the plot of Breaking Bad with the characters of Justified.
That seems right.Comment

The Americans might be the best show in this prestige era that never gets talked about.
And Spirit is right -- the finale was actually satisfactory.
There have been a number of good finales in television history, and a shitload of bad, but very rarely have there been perfect finales. I can only think of a few off the top of my head: "The Americans," "Six Feet Under," "M*A*S*H," "The Shield," "The Leftovers."Comment

The Americans get lost among all the great shows of the last decade, but I thought it was fantastic. It was amazing how they made Russian Spies sympathetic.
And agree totally, the finale was almost perfect.Comment

The main characters are fundamentally different at the outset than Walter White and his wife. It might be a little like BB if BB started in the middle of season 3.
I like Marty Byrde FAR more than WW and I think his story is more relatable and interesting. The supporting characters in Ozark aren't nearly as good and the overall show isn't the same tour de force as BB. But I like them both. There is an attorney character that shows up that I really like.Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that...
