Contrary to popular belief, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was NOT about LSD.
From the Sgt Pepper's documentary commemorating the 50th anniversary of the album, the song was similar to Strawberry Fields Forever, which was a look at the world through the imagination of a child. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was more of a play on "Alice in Wonderland".
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.
