When you want to post a youtube clip, go to the top of the text box. There will be 3 icons on the right hand side, including a box with the letter "A" underlined.
Click that box.
Several options appear above the post/edit box. In the 5th box from the right hand side is an icon in the right end of that box, called "Insert Video" (name of that icon appears if you hover your mouse over it.
Click that icon and paste the URL of your video in the window provided, and click "OK".
