    Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris - This is Us

    Emmylou isn't in the best of voice in this version, but still very good.
    Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

        When I was a student at UK I got a chance to see Emmy Lou at the Student Center Ballroom(I'm thinking 1975), of all places. $3.50 a pop lol. She had Hank DeVito and Eric Clapton's old guitar player with her. They were outrageously good. Her warm up band was Ricky Skaggs and Silver Creek Band.

            Wow. That's cool. I would have liked to see some of these people when they were starting out.

                MY BAD. His band was called Boone Creek. Emmy Lou was beyond beautiful at the time. She still is IMHO.

                    Surveyor, get a load of this. That's Rodney Crowell on acoustic guitar, Albert Lee(not of 10 Years After) who played with Clapton, and Hank DeVito on pedal steel. How ANYBODY can sit still during a ragin' hot Blue Grass song like this is beyond me......
