    Not Staying Logged IN

Regardless that I check the remember me box each time, I'm rarely logged in more than 1-2 times after that when I come back. Do you know what's going on? Thanks.

I have that same problem on my home PC only. At work and on my laptop I have no problems at all. Thst is using IE and/or Chrome on both of those. I suspect this is happening to a lot of people and may be the reason some don't come back as often.

I have the same problem on my new laptop with IE, but not with my
Tablet or desktop. The tablet uses IE also and both
        Are windows 8.1.

On a similar note, I have to log in twice every time on either Firefox at home or IE at work.

You may want to clear your cookies and see if that helps.

Deleted, but did not help. Even had to log in twice to gain entry a couple of times
              while doing the delete exercise.

I agree, Although I appreciate the support, it's no factor whatsoever with this problem having to login twice each time. How do I know? Once cookies are deleted, my other accounts require me to request and then access an email link to prove I am who I am and before access is approved for confidential accounts. I delete cookies quite often as either part of my anti-malware program or thru the browser itself.

Still a pain in the neck. Maybe the powers that be are telling me something.

It isn't effecting everyone therefore cookies are generally the first culprit. I am still researching why this is happening to some of you.

For some reason, I haven't had to login today. Hope it stands.

I have to log in twice with both my computers. It's like the first login never happened. It's not a cookies problem.......I delete them daily and it has no effect on logging in. Leave this site for 30 seconds and I will have to log in twice again to return even though I always check the "remember me" box. I also notice that about half the time I start logging in a drop down list appears with two possible login selections - my name "kynut" and also my e-mail address "kynut@charter.net". I have no idea how my e-mail address got to the login menu. It doesn't matter whether I select "kynut" from the drop down or type in "kynut" I still have to log in twice. I haven't tried logging in with the e-mail address since it shouldn't be there anyway.

Now, here's something new. I did not log on to the site before typing my preceding post and the site accepted the post. I scrolled back to the top of the page and danged if I wasn't logged in. Making a post logged me in automatically. How's that happen? I definitely was not logged in - I was just browsing the posts and, forgetting I was not logged in, I typed a post and posted it and the site logged me in by itself.

                          Color me confused.

Maybe sometimes we are logged in at the login at the top right of the page simply does not show that we are logged in, so we attempt to log in and that is why it takes two tries (we're already logged in)? I'll have to play with that a bit to see of it happens all the time. I'm logging out and returning.

Nope. I left the site and returned and did not log in. When I scrolled to the bottom of this page I had no buttons for making a post. So, I went back to the top to log in. The drop down menu appeared as I typed in "kynut" and my password. The drop down list had both my name and my e-mail address to select from so I went ahead and selected my name over top of my name I had typed in. The login worked on the first try.......I did not have to do it twice.......first time ever.

                              I give up.
