    Football Question # 17.

    On second down late in the game, A1 muffs the hand-to-hand snap, which rolls up his arm. A1 then immediately throws it to the ground.

    A. No problem.
    B. Illegal forward pass.

              I'll go with A. Sounds like the same as clocking the ball which is now legal on all levels as far as I know.
              Kentucky fan since 1971.

                      The correct answer to question # 17

                      is A for College, and B for HS.

                      RULE 7; Snapping and Passing the Ball.

                      SECTION 3. Forward Pass.
                      ARTICLE 2. A forward pass is illegal if:
                      f. The passer to conserve time throws the ball directly to the ground (1)
                      after the ball has already touched the ground; or (2) not immediately after
                      controlling the ball.
