Per credible sources, there wasn't a storm within 50 mi. of Baton Rouge during the time the game would have been played had it started on time. Therefore, no danger of lightning strikes which was the reason given for the delay.

While that all may be true they didn't get hosed in any way. That game could have been played at noon, midnight or any time in between and they weren't hitting Skenes. Of course giving up 14 didn't help the cause either.

Our Cats were simply outmanned. They hit the ball well and had opportunities to break the game open, but just couldn't get the big hit. They had a very good season and the Baseball Program looks to be in good shape. GO CATS!!!​
