There's not much to say. They just gave it away, in my opinion.

There's definitely something to say. That was one of the weirder and most shocking sporting events I've ever seen.

      I've read probably 20 articles just today. Here's a good one: http://www.slate.com/articles/sports...gals_game.html

The NFL is just a joke anymore. The rules change from play to play. Players totally out of control. These games turn into a total circus. Just too much stuff allowed to go on that leads to situations like this. Sadly I think the NFL loves it because to them it's all about money and ratings.

Marvin Lewis didn't manage the end of that game well at all. Further, he didn't manage his players very well either and let the emotions get the best of them at the end of the game.

The refs didn't help with the inconsistencies in catching penalties, but that's a given in most any game. It only becomes glaring in close games. The refs could have done a better job of getting control of the game early on, too.

That game put a black eye on the Bengals primarily, and the fans as well, to an extent. The number of arrests before, during and after the game was ridiculous and predominantly alcohol-fueled.

Cincinnati will be known as "little Philly" for a while. Pacman Jones and a few other players reinforced the punk image by their tweets about Pittsburg losing last night.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

I went to Paul Brown about seven years ago. It was pretty eye-opening.

It was pretty much the opposite of a family environment. I saw opposing fans being verbally abused in the bathrooms. People screaming at guys with their kids on the concourses. Just a rough situation.

Burfict and Jones are PUNKS that need to be cut yesterday. It's a shame as far as Burfict is concerned because he is a gifted player. Plays hard all the time. I was really hoping he wasn't touched and would've ran it all the way back for 2 points. That would've been hilarioius and deserved IMO. Jones is talented but his best days are behind him. I feel he never lived up to the hype he had coming out of college. Marvin Jones is one of the longest tenured coaches in the league, but surely he can't last one more year in Cincy. His teams are a playoff regular but they can't win one.

Four of us went December 2012 for a game between the Cowboys and the Bengals. I guess it depends on the team and the rivalry. We were treated more than nicely by the Bengals fans in our section. We had seats in the corner about 10 rows up from the field. Surrounded by Bengals fans. This was before the stricter rules on bags allowed into the stadium. Group behind us had brought in dozens of jello shots and offered us several.
We were never given any grief by any of the fans we encountered - even while out on the town the night before. Spent a few hours at Hofbrauhaus the night before and a group of Bengals fans invited us to their tailgate location and gave us a map of how to find it.

I've a friend whose a Steelers fan and the atmosphere is pretty hostile. Same with the Browns.
