Kentucky softball started the day off strong with a exciting win over Clemson 7-6. Kentucky was hoping to carry that momentum into their next game against #9 Oklahoma State, but could not come up with another win.

Kentucky started their Friday doubleheader with a thrilling win over Clemson 7-6. The Wildcats were leading 7-2 after the 6th inning, but survived a late rally from the Tigers with the tying run on base to secure the victory.
In their most competitive game yet, several Wildcats stepped up to earn the hard fought victory. Peyton Plotts got things going early with a two-run HR in the 1st inning to put Kentucky up early, her second of the year. Plotts continued her efforts with a RBI double in the 3rd inning.
