I've continued to feel he'll be a Cat as well and certainly hope so. Don't see Wiseman here next year. If a kid and his mom say that reclassifying is not what they want does the "players first" program continue to convince him to reclassify? I guess a part of me is hoping Cal is leaving Wiseman alone with the expectation he's ours in 2019.

This then would leave us needing Zion real bad even if we get some returnees from this year.

I REALLY don't want Duke to have a cakewalk to a title next year! It may be up to us to stop them.

Wiseman could start for this team now. At 16 years old.

I have to think they'll at least give reclassification a long look. I wouldn't put any stock into what they've said publicly.

Interesting. When they said he was staying in 2019 class I did take their word for it. Perhaps they ponder it more after his HS season but he would have to be getting prepared academically by now I would think to skip a year of school.

Wiseman is by all accounts a great student. Speaks Mandarin. I wouldn't think an early graduation would be that difficult for him.

I think Wiseman saying no to reclassification has more to do with the fact that if he announces he is reclassing now, he cant play in the Peach Jam. If Im not mistaken both Bagley and the other Porter brother for Mizzou both denied wanting to reclass until after the Peach Jam in July.

Regardless....we really need Zion AND Wiseman for us to be thinking of a truly special year next year. At least one. Fingers crossed.

For a guy of his size he has incredible ball handling and a good outside shot. If it's Clemson he will have a very good shot at POY.

At this point, it would be a major upset if he goes anywhere other than Clemson (which still makes no sense to me).

I think this would be a double blow to Cal and UK. One because we miss out on Zion, two because it's another top tier recruit choosing a random school and (possibly) proving that you don't need to go to UK or Duke to be a top NBA pick.
