I would like to say that I watched maker's team and azibuke's team battle last night and very impressed by maker's play . A good part of the night He brought the ball up the court and handled the ball very well for a big man and probally hit 8 or 9 three's for the night some of those with hand's in his face and he battled azibuke in the paint as well even azibuke probally outweighed him by 50 or 60 pounds .

I don't think we're even trying for Maker at this point. Too many other options on board, plus the apparent likelihood of bringing in Bolden, who, by all accounts, seems to be the superior player.

We may have backed off on Maker too soon. He looks much improved since last summer.Comment

I think they did everything they could to get him to reclassify, and when he wouldn't make up his mind they backed off.
We didn't end up with a bad deal with Bam, so in the end it should work out.Comment
