It's a mix tape, so take it for what it's worth. Two things that stand out are his ability to move through traffic and his crossover; the former would translate well to the college game, while the latter could go either way. A lot of HS guys who depend on a move like that tend to get themselves into trouble against better competition.

There's a lot to catch up on, a lot of top kids are out there undecided and most are going to wait for a spring decision, which I think is good for us. Malik Newman and Jaylen Brown are the studs of the class in my opinion.Comment

Cal has 12 kids with an offer in this class, which is more than he normally has offered in the past, but I think after 2013 he doesn't want to be thin after a mass exodus season like we could have this year. But it also worries me that it means he is not confident in landing any of them.Comment

This class worries me.
The players are fine and I'm sure Cal could land whoever he wanted, more or less, but it could be as late as next April before anyone has a clear idea of what our current players are going to do. I fear that some recruits will grow weary of the process and pull the trigger elsewhere before they see that we'll have space on the roster.Comment

I think its always a worry with these late decisions, but unfortunately I think this year there is no way around it. If these kids start committing earlier than later we are in trouble.
