Something is odd about that story. He doesn't know exactly how much he was offered? -
That is about as bad of an article as you can have if it's true. For a player to be saying his main concern is his career being hurt going to play at Kentucky instead of Michigan.
Being the story is written by a Detroit news outlet I'm sure it was twisted as much as possible, I just find it hard to believe that money was the only pitch from UK but nonetheless it's a bad look for sure.

I said this elsewhere but I would tend to believe the overall sentiment of what he said, he probably took less money to play at Michigan because he liked/trusted Dusty May. Now I very much doubt the $7-9 million figure, that’d be insane for anyone to pass up.
I saw someone say that he was probably offered something like $3-4 million guaranteed, and was told he could make additional through other NIL deals. That makes more sense to me. Either way, not the best look going into portal season.Comment

I watched a little of mich game in there conf tourney and thought he was a good player but not great.
I have serious doubts about that whole story, especially the money that was allegedly offered. If true, how many of the top 5 players could have been offered THE same by UK.i would say there was not one player in the portal or HS senior that would have turned that amount of money downComment
