    DINK PATE SILENT VERBAL?

Pope has visited Pate this week. Have read several articles there may have been a commitment from Pate. Don't know that I believe this but time will tell

I haven't seen anything from what I would call a reputable source but that doesn't mean anything.

I could be way off base here but I’m pretty nervous about Pate. Seems he MIGHT be Pope’s top choice at PG. I’m not totally convinced that’s Pate’s natural position—but that’s not really my concern.

Our president’s executive order which he claims solves all of college sports’ problems intends to get things back much closer to the way they used to be. The courts ruled against Bediako at Alabama. And now the NCAA plans to write a rule making all who opt into pro drafts and stay in automatically ineligible. No telling how quickly any of this gets lined out and then how does it play out in court—again. But feels pretty risky to put all your PG eggs into the Dink basket.

Can cross Pate off the board, committed to Providence.
