Usually I wouldn't write about this, since I don't care that much about high school recruiting news and he's still a couple of years away from playing college ball (he's only going to be a junior this year)....but Sleepers Media was talking about this and it peaked my interest because I remember his dad VERY well! I had his dad on a few fantasy basketball teams back in the mid-2000s when I was doing the fantasy hoops thing. His dad was a really good player and apparently the apple didn't fall far from the tree with his son. He's currently rated as a high 4 Star, borderline top 25 overall player for the class of 2027. It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out for me, and there's a lot of time before he'll likely make a decision, but I just figured that I would share this little bit of info. Here's a link of his sophomore highlights:

While watching videos of Reese, I stumbled across this of his dad. Very interesting. Watch towards the end after the turnover who offers him some words of encouragement. Probably explains a lot:

If someone wants to move it there, that's fine. After all, I did say

Like I said, I usually don't care that much about recruiting news, but I did find this interesting because of who his father is... and because of the Mark Pope connection to his dad, as evidenced by the second post/video I shared.Comment

Skip To My Lou was a streetball legend. I think he was the first of his kind to play in the NBA.While watching videos of Reese, I stumbled across this of his dad. Very interesting. Watch towards the end after the turnover who offers him some words of encouragement. Probably explains a lot:
