Others last week said they’d be surprised if he leaves the state of Kentucky.

The info is a little inconsistent, but the only common denominator is Kentucky.

Momma seems to sure be making a different statement.

Tyran Stokes is a name every Louisville basketball fan must know. The Louisville native is ranked as the No. 1 recruit in the 2026 class, and Pat Kelsey has mad

lol loads of people in Louisville follow and watch UK basketball.

After years of kids saying UK was their dream school, only to go elsewhere, I’m not taking much from
her comments. This will come down to nil and usage.

He has an upcoming PR back to school event, and one of the stipulations is that donations can only be Nike gear.

Do with that what you will.

Stokes would be nice. I would like to see what Pope can do with the Number 1 recruit.

But no HS player (really no one player) is make or break for us now.

Cal was about “out talenting” everybody, so he needed the best of the best.

Pope can coach and can adjust and adapt to the players he has available. He can win without elite talent.

But I still would love to see what he can do with elite talent.

Someone should point out to them that the coeds in Lexington have better genes.
Crusher of eggshells... apparently. I dunno.

Now it appears it is between KU, UK, and Oregon. Obviously going to be about who can write the biggest check, and if Phil Knight wants him that bad he may give him whatever he wants.

Oh well. Better than Duke getting the top player every single year. I guess.

Agree, unless it’s KU then it’s just as bad. I have zero feelings against Oregon since they’ve never really been relevant other than here and there. Not sure if Knight will spend more money on football or basketball though.
