What about Willis? Did you really expect Willis to play center or the post position at the 4 spot??? If Willis plays the 4 or 5 it's because Cal is going with a 1 in 4 out offense.......

    Not his game bruh!!!!!

Ben Roberts just said that we should be hearing something about Humphries in the next few days.

Per multiple tweets Humphreys has signed to play at UK and will reclassify to 2015.
            Kentucky fan since 1971.

Per Ben Roberts.... "Rivals.com currently ranks Humphries as the No. 35 overall prospect in the class of 2016, though he is expected to be cleared right away to play for UK this season.
Johnstin noted that due to Humphries’ age — he turned 17 in January — he would be too young to enter the 2016 NBA Draft even if he has a tremendous freshman season with the Wildcats. That means he will play at least two years at Kentucky."

41 & 19 against Murray and Canada in the U17 championships is pretty impressive. Not so sure he is going to be just a practice body and project like people believe.

His age suggests he's going to have a hard time consistently competing.

Very rare to see players come in at 17 and be able to maintain anything at this level outside of flashes. I look for him to be a necessary part of the team simply because we needed size off the bench; it'll give somebody for Skal and Lee and Poythress to run up against in practice, and he'll provide a fall-back if there's foul trouble.

But I'd be really surprised if he played anything more than just a small role. Really young. Should be great for '16-'17 though.

Although young, he's got a lot of good experience that a lot of players don't have coming in. Going against Skal will only make him better. I could see him playing 10 to 12 minutes a game and not hurting us.

Not saying he is going to be a star next year. But to me a "project" is someone that you hope to get some meaningful minutes out of in year 3 or 4. I think this guy is going to be much more than that. As you said he should be good in 16-17.

Yeah, projects are what the Tubbster was bringing in at the end of his career here. I would've been ecstatic to have had a player of Humphries ability then, as I do now. For the record, I love Tubby. I was just stating the obvious.

Now Cal has the option to play Skal and Humpries at the 4 and 5 with Poythrees on the wing with Murray and/or Ulis/Briscoe.

Cal missed on the PRIMA DONA'S that wanted to be the star of a team and ended up with Skal, Murray,Briscoe, Matthews, and Humphries with Ulis, Lee,Poythrees, Hawkins, and Willis....

Bottomline, we are 10 deep and covered at every position with combo guys who can play multiple positions...

                          More than satisfied,,,,

                          In Cal we trust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here we go,, I can already tell that Humphries is getting the slow can't jump can't play white guy label smh. I guess he doesn't run a 4.2 or have a 44 inch vertical smh..

What the hell is Cal thinking lol lol lol lol lol lol smh..

Bottomline, glad Cal landed another guy for the frontline. To be perfectly honest, never thought Frank the tank would go number 9 in the NBA draft and his first two years at Wisconsin he was flat out trash. I still think that Kaminisky will struggle to consistently play on the NBA level but you never know, not always about who can run the fastest or jump the highest. If Cal is comparing Isaac to Harrellson already but with more potential, this has to be a good sign right????
