Thankfully, I don't really care where one and done high school kids commit anymore. After 15 years we finally have a coach that won't load the roster up every year with those types....and I've gotta say, it's kinda nice to watch guys in their early twenties playing basketball for Kentucky again.

Besides, we don't have as many seniors or guys that are guaranteed to leave after this year, so who knows how many roster spots will even be available. Crazy as it may sound to some, I'm more excited about the transfer portal than I am high school recruiting these days.

I agree Bucs. I think Hart wrapped this up awhile ago.

If Hart doesn’t land Crowe, I have to question his recruiting skills. He has literally been recruiting this kid since he was born.

I’m trying to think who he reminds me of and I can’t come up with anything. He’s a cross between a couple players, imo.

I'll get crushed for this, but he reminds me of Derek Rose. I'm not saying he's that good but his game reminds me of Rose.

Him committing this early bodes well for us. We were the front runner because of his relationship with Coach Hart (he considers Coach Hart family).

When JJ interviewed him a few weeks ago and he said he wanted to go through the process, I thought to myself, “he’s ours as long as someone doesn’t talk him out of it. He’d have to have a really good visit somewhere else for him to ditch his family (Hart).” It makes sense that if he is going to commit this early, he is probably going with the coach that he has a personal relationship with.

I have always thought he was coming here unless Coach Hart left.
