I sure hope they are wrong! I have given up hope on Giles, but I would sure like to get Monk, Bridges, and Simmons. I know, i'm not asking for much.

Kentucky really wants Monk. I read months ago that they feel like he might be the best player in the class.

Hard to imagine UK not getting Simmons as well, but you never know.

2016 is loaded and the good news is most of the top 10 guys have UK in their top 3-5. Problem is, UK doesn't clearly lead with any of them. Hard to imagine they strike out but after 2015 recruiting I am not betting against it.

Yea, it seems that most top kids put UK in their top 5, if not for anything else other than the attention and articles that comes along with it. But as we found out with this 2015 class, being in the top 5, or even top 2-3 means absolutely nothing. Anderson has one goal, and that is to land Monk, he's betting the Hog farm on it and if Cal, or someone else lands him it will be a hard pill to swallow for Anderson and Arkansas.

I agree, and think that Cal should use his resources on other players that he actually has a chance at.

Evan Daniels thinks UK still has a chance, and some think him leaving his home state for his senior season is a good sign for UK, but I don't buy it. I think this is just another situation where he is keeping UK in his top 5 because it brings more attention and articles to him. Just like with Tatum, he said he knew all along he wanted to go to Duke, but of course he had UK in his top 4, it is pretty rare that a kid gets an offer from UK and does not have them in their "top however many" until decision time.

Giles said he is going to commit in the fall before his season starts so at least that will be good, so Cal can move on to recruiting other kids harder.

From what a lot of people are saying, Cal is making him a priority, I just hope he is not wasting his time, sure seems like he is going to go to Duke.

Giles still says he wants to commit in the fall, so at least it won't be drawn out until next spring.
