Brother man, the world and UK basketball will keep turning. We may not have 12 guys lined up for the NBA but I am excited with what we have. My Kentucky boys will get some clock and we have some experience and a top recruit at center.


Quick question,, wonder how much fire is burning in guys like Lee, Poythrees, Hawkins, and Willis? Having to sit and watch most of last year had to be tough on these guys. Even Ulis gets a chance to log more minutes and truly get into the flow of a game. It's not like we are handing the point guard spot over to Ryan Harrow this year lol lol lol........

Relax,, team will be fine. Good friend of mine from Bronx who does security work has actually been keeping me up to speed on Briscoe. My buddy is 6'3 295 and he thinks Briscoe is actually a inch or two taller than him. He's a baseball guy but was impressed with Isiah the few times he worked security over in Jersey.

Even if Brown would have picked Kentucky, still doesn't solve the fear of "outside" shooting. Brown is a elite athlete with a good mental state from what I read but even then, he will have to learn quick to get up to speed.

I am a fan of all these kids. Just hope that Willis is ready to go this season because if he's ever going to play and contribute, it won't get any better than this. If not, he may want to rethink his senior season elsewhere if he truly wants to play..........

As for the platoon killing Kentucky. Some of these kids develop rivalries in AAU and sometimes, they don't want to be friends and team up together. If this class was minus Skal and Briscoe, hell, i may be lining up to jump off the downtown Louisville bridge myself. Until Cal totally blanks and gets nothing, no need to freak out at this point. Even if Cal did blank and get nothing, is it safe to say that the Great Cal has earned the right to have a complete off year???? The Robert Morris NIT team was fluke but we would have danced how Noel not been injured.


I am more worried about Cal sharping his pencil and getting his X's and O's in order..........

The sky is not falling. Sooner or later missing on some guys Cal wanted was bound to happen. If THIS is what we're going to classify as a "bad recruiting year", we just don't have that much to worry about.
