Maybe I am looking at this wrong but Briscoe says he is waiting until spring to sign his letter. Wants to see how things play out. I read that as he will attend UK as long as he is the starting point guard. Cant say I really like that.

I read that as, "If Andrew Harrison stays, I flip; if not, I'm with UK." Can't blame him. He has to know Ulis isn't going anywhere, so I don't think it's about competition or some need to be "the man."

Also, I'm going to move this to the active Isaiah Briscoe thread in the Recruiting forum.

Maybe he doesn't realize we have a young man named Ulis who will probably still be here.

                  I'd say he's aware.

Exactly. If the Twins do come back he will go somewhere else. I can't blame him a bit for leaving his options open.

He played it the way he should have. No need to sign anything.

But it's not going to be an issue because the twins aren't staying until their junior years. The only hitch might be if Calipari jumps to the NBA.

Also of interest is the effect on Malik Newman. We can probably rule him out after this - especially if we're still going hard for Jaylen Brown and Antonio Blakeney.

i think I'd much rather have Brown than Newman, but that's probably not a case of one or the other. It's going to be a very interesting season!

Entirely different positions. I think it's more like Newman or Blakeney, as Brown is a SF.

I will be ecstatic if we get Newman or Brown....both are great players.
