Side note regarding future recruiting- Yesterday I was on Youtube (watching last weeks Allen Iverson Classic to check out our 2021 recruits) and I ran across an Overtime series called League Ready. It is about the HS elite G-league Team Ignite. There are couple episodes posted right now, but I think it will be a weekly series/upload. Was interesting to get the behind the scenes glimpse of this process to the draft. Y'all should check it out...

What’s your gut telling you, UK or Miami IF he does go college route?
IF he doesn’t select UK, any regrets that we didn’t go after Kofi? 🤷🏽‍♀️

If we don’t get him Fly, definitely regrets on not pursuing Kofi!

I think he’ll play college. Trying to maintain hope he’ll be a cat although signs point elsewhere. If he’s not a cat I certainly regret not getting Kofi. But that doesn’t mean that I’ll blame Cal for waiting on Duren. I imagine Kofi is smart enough he would have been able to tell he was a backup option if Cal tried to get him to wait till after Duren’s decision. Simply could not play it that way.

My preference was to have Duren but I also felt “bird in hand” was the safer bet. But I was ok with Cal’s decision to put his eggs in the Duren basket at the time so I can live with the results.

Biggest disappointment may not be for this season but the fact that perhaps we have not regained “it program” status.

Don't know if you have Bleacher Report account/app, but when EB announced there was a thread where UK fans and other "blue blood" fan bases were stating Penny is officially on the hot seat with this class; he needs to not only make the dance but go deep! We'll see...

Update…Memphis Pennies are 9-8 overall, 3-4 in the AAC. Not looking like a tournament team. Well, THE tournament anyway. Beat Alabama but have several BAD losses.

Top recruits need to heed the obvious. Go elsewhere.

A bit off topic but did Penny have any experience as a head coach prior to Memphis? Lack of HC experience seems a definite "con" for Kenny Payne.
