Who knows? Perhaps, it has something to do with Cal, or some of the assistants, or maybe some of this new generation of young guns just don't view UK in the same light as many of their predecessors. Think we may've gone in so hard on Skyy Clark thinking he was going to reclassify that we lost time on other options.
Still think Clark may be an option but if he's not, this wouldn't be the first time the staff has thrown everything at a player and lost ground with others.
I still think Cal recruits a little too ****************y. If you look at the pool of players we're after it's always so tight. Six, seven players. There's literally no room for error.Comment

Typically, package deals never pan out, so I'm going to assume that were still in a good position with Banchero until I hear something concrete otherwise.Comment

I was just going by this article that came out the other day.
"Banchero has been vocal about visiting all of his finalists - Arizona, Duke, Gonzaga, Kentucky, Tennessee and Washington - one last time before deciding but that could prove to be difficult due to the continued restrictions on in-person recruiting. The Huskies are the local program and both of his parents played at UW. Arizona has continued to make Banchero a top priority. Kentucky could have an issue thanks to the departure of Kenny Payne, who was Banchero’s lead recruiter. Gonzaga is Gonzaga, so the Bulldogs are going to get a hard look. I keep coming back to Duke for Banchero. Coach K has made him one of the select few that he really wants in the 2021 class and that could strike a chord with Banchero."Comment

The Chandler decision wasn't a super disappointment, but I have a feeling Banchero is going UW or Zags and THAT will be a disappointment!Comment
