Zimmerman puzzled me most because his Mom seems so enamored with Calipari, often referring to him as Elvis. That and I thought he'd pair well with Skal, almost as well as Diallo could have.

How tight his mother was in that recruitment was probably a sign.

If the parents direct his recruiting the way she did, chances are he's going to play close to home. As a parent it's hard to blame her. She might see him disappear pretty significantly from her life when he's just 19 and goes into the NBA. (Though I question if Zimmerman's a one-and-done.)

If and only if you are omnipotent. Wouldn't she distance herself from UK if the second part of that post held true? Obviously it did, literally, but not the logic conveyed. If that were the case, then why was Cal spoken about as though he was the best thing since Beer Can Chicken?

Billy Donovan doesn't have any top 50 guys committed for next season but he does have four, be interesting to see if they all stay or not. Not saying they are hot items but i'm sure there are a lot of teams that would be happy to take them.
