Kenny Brooks says Kentucky WBB is 'very, very close' to being done in the transfer po

Kenny Brooks has reeled in three players from the transfer portal this offseason in Josie Gilvin, Asia Boone and Tonie Morgan. With 11 players on the roster for next year, Brooks feels as if he’s just about done all of the work he needs to do in the portal.
For him, adding a big to complement Clara Strack down low is the only real need the team has at the moment.

“We’re very, very close [to being done with the roster],” Brooks told KSR in his interview on The Memorial Memo. “We went into the portal and pretty much got what we wanted. We wanted the right players, and I felt like we got that. We can probably look for additional depth in the post. As we know, my post players have a tendency to get in foul trouble, but we have so much depth that we can play big, we can play small ball. Just to add a little bit of insurance, that’s what we’ll be looking at.”

Does anybody know what happened to the 6'7" player from Portugal name Silva? She was a freshman and was pretty good.

6’7” is hard to replace but she was pretty thin. I think Brooks has a couple returning from injury that will help.

She is definitely replaceable but I was disappointed she didn’t stick around. TCU is an absolute $$ machine program and I bet she got a nice offer.

Brooks got good replacements for her, albeit not quite as tall.

We should have a really good team
