After posting a 1-2 record last week, Kentucky women’s basketball slipped in the national rankings.
On Monday, Kentucky checked in at No. 14 in the updated Associated Press Top 25, a six-spot drop from last week when the Wildcats were ranked No. 8 for the first since the 2015-16 season.
It was a rare three-game week for Kenny Brooks‘ Wildcats, which lost to Ole Miss on the road Monday and No. 2 Texas at home Thursday before bouncing back to beat Georgia by 29 points on Sunday. Another important stretch is coming up too as Kentucky tries to build a winning streak. UK will be on the road Thursday against Missouri before returning home to host No. 7 LSU on Sunday for Senior Day. Only four games remain on UK’s regular season schedule, three coming against ranked opponents.
