Kyra Elzy and the Kentucky women’s basketball program have picked up their first commitment in 2024, and it’s a big one. The biggest one, actually.
Butler (Louisville) High School standout Ramiya White, a 6-foot-5 center in the rising senior class, made her decision public Sunday afternoon. The Miss Kentucky Basketball candidate chose the Wildcats over scholarship offers from the likes of Clemson, Florida State, Kansas State, Miami (FL), Mississippi State, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse and West Virginia, among others.
White received an offer from Kentucky in November 2021 and took an official to Lexington this past June. Just over a month later, the in-state product is a Wildcat.
