Coach Mitchell is retiring. I know he had some pretty serious health issues over the summer. If I remember correctly he had brain surgery. One can assume it's health related but nothing has been said yet that I've seen. Our girls can have a legitimate top ten team this year. Best of luck and best of health, Coach.

Coach Mitchell leaves as the winningest coach of UK Women's basketball. I think it's confirmed that because of his health he felt like he couldn't do the job.
