Matthew Mitchell recovering following brain surgery

LEXINGTON â€” Kentucky womenâ€™s basketball coach Matthew Mitchell is recovering following brain surgery.

Mitchell recently had surgery to remove a subdural hematoma after blood was found on his brain approximately two weeks ago. Mitchellâ€™s wife Jenna Mitchell said he fell and suffered a concussion nearly four months ago and later blood was found on his brain.
