Main reason its not now is that we just don't have that many posting here anymore. If it was like it used to be then it would shuffled off to the pro sports forum. When you only have, maybe 20, people posting then you just have to limit the forums they post to.

Like seeing former Cats doing so great in the NBA. Stay healthy and keep playing strong he will keep having a great career by the time he retires.

I would point out that they lost the game. Good for him but...

Right. It's a known AD needs some help.

Why is that? When I first joined here over ten years ago it seems like there were a few hundred users. Now it seems there's only about 20 of us that post regularly. The only thing I can see compared to the other message boards I get on (not just Kentucky but in general) is we actually keep it clean and don't allow or tolerate language or attacks. If anything I think that should keep our numbers up. Are we the minority? Those of us (this entire board) who can have rational conversations on an adult level.

We've lost posters over the years for various reasons.

I think most people get their news now from Matt Jones or social media. So you're not going to usually come to WCN to get the latest scoop like it was a few years ago.

And if you decide to use a message board for the first time then it's probably going to be Rivals. This place depended on regulars to thrive and when the regulars drifted away we were left with just a core of the old guard.

I wish it weren't so but we've pretty much only gone down in activity since the ISIS hack. One or two really good active posters would help, so if you know anybody tell them about us.

I don't. That's the main reason I get on here every day because I don't have anyone I can talk to about UK. Not to get all sentimental, but some of the people on here almost seem like family even though I only know one outside of the board. I went to school with TrueBlueCatFan's daughter. I've never met anyone else. I think we are doing pretty good. It's clean, informative, and we all respect each other. Don't most other boards charge you to get on? For me, it isn't just about getting the information it's discussing it.

^ There's a premium board at the site I mentioned but there are also some big free boards.

I like WCN too but there aren't enough posters. There's a point where a board can have too many, but discussions are too sporadic on this board because we just don't have enough people logging in.

If we just had 5 to 10 more regular good posters things would be a lot better. Facebook and other social media sites just about killed off boards like this. People just drifted away when those became popular. Then our take downs of WCN and another version right after that just about killed us off. At this point I'm not sure we will ever be close to being that vibrant again as we were about 10 years ago.

I was a member of WCN. I immediately looked for the replacement sites when the others went down. I like t his site. Seems to me to have plenty of posters. Perhaps its not as good financially?

I guess it depends on what you want out of the board. If you just drop in occasionally then this is probably fine. But there will be days where we'll have single digits posts total across every forum.

We come back because of the days when there is activity, so in that way it's worth it. But it'd be nice if there were a few more usernames and posts.

If Davis stays healthy and keeps playing the way he did last night, I think it reverts back to Davis.....
I think I'd still take LeBron.

He needs more of a good supporting cast, how you score 50 and still lose?! I think AD is having injury problems because he's having to do so much...

I found "WCN" only two seasons ago and speaking for me RIVALS and some of the other free boards were over the top...too much in the gutter.
Sometimes quality is better than quantity or even frequency. I feel the fans on this board are insightful, informative, respectful of one another even when they may not agree with someone's opinion and sometime the "one-liners" I see that just come out of know where makes me laugh/smile *thinking of the one Will said that brought me to tears...soil his pants*

Same here, love Davis but Lebron is the freak of all freaks lol lol lol. What amazes me about Lebron is that through all the pressure and the whole world watching him under the microscope, Lebron has done very well on and off the court and gives back. I was a little upset he left Cleveland the first time but he made things right in the end. Loved Jordan but if I had to pick, it's a toss up....
