Knowing our fanbase like we do, how would BBN react to Bill Self if he was delivering the same results at UK that he is at KU?

You would think that Coach Cal would use a zone more than he does.

Apparently, for whatever reason, Cal doesn't like zone defenses. This reminds me of Adolph Rupp. Coach Rupp hated zone defenses. The first time UK used one, under him, when a reporter questioned him about it, after the game, coach Rupp said it wasn't a zone defense. He called it a stratified hyperbole and something else I can't recall what.

Cal doesn't like a zone, so it's probably a good idea for him not to use it. However, if he was watching the game last night, Nova's zone put them in the final four. KU was totally confused by it.

Surely not well.

It's ironic for how much we gripe about freshmen, but one thing he does that would irk this fanbase is the way he deals with freshmen. So many freshmen have gone in there recently and just disappeared. That wouldn't go over well here; we know this because Tubby did a little of this and it was roundly hated.

Perry Ellis never played in a single Final Four.
